Men's Socks

Hey there! So you are heading back to the office and you got used to the top half of your outfit being more “zoom call appropriate?” . Well, it is time to figure out where your dress pants are, maybe find that loafer you threw in the back of your closet? This post is to help you navigate what to wear to the office as we slowly get back to it. We will create a little guide and list of things you would need to help you achieve this.

  1. DRESS PANTS
  2. WHITE SHIRT
  3. NEUTRAL BLAZER
  4. BOOTS
  5. PEACOAT / TRENCH COAT
  6. RIGHT PAIR OF JEANS

DRESS PANTS

You can have fun with this, I know a lot of us tend to stick to greys and blacks, maybe blues and that is okay! I totally agree with you on that , but try adding colour, add some brown hues, maybe beige and even some patterns like pinstripes. This can be paired with a clean crisp white shirt which we will talk about next, or a neutral blazer or jacket that you can rotate throughout the week.

WHITE SHIRT

Nothing beats a nice crisp white shirt. This is one of those wardrobe staples or essentials you hear about. You can rock a crisp white shirt with dress pants, a nice suit, a good pair of jeans. A crisp white shirt is also as versatile as it can be and you can rock this for a Friday meeting in the morning to evening drinks with your work friends.

NEUTRAL BLAZER

Depending on what industry you work in, you can get away with neutrals. That feeling you get when you want to wear something other than black or blue, you can pair a neutral blazer with black pants or chinos and throw on some loafers and you can get away with looking professional but still stylish.

BOOTS

Boots are great, and it's fall. So get yourself a pair, or two: in brown and black. Trust me, they are so worth it. You can go for the classic chelsea boot, or a nice suede chukka boot if you are able to take care of suede.

PEACOAT / TRENCH COAT

Alright, now this is the one item you need to invest in. A good peacoat and/ or trench coat is the one item that gets you a “ You look sharp” compliment. We do not want to fish for compliments only, the trench coat is one of those pieces that seals the deal when it comes to an outfit. You can go for a classic grey, brown or black.

JEANS

Last but not least, we love a good pair of jeans. We love a casual Friday and you can rock jeans but in a more professional work oriented way. I recently discovered a brand Mott and Bow who make amazing denim. These are perfect because they have that mix of play and work feel and look. You should check them out and let us know what you think.
